As a Pensacola native, my first home was the Dorr House, a beautiful post-Civil War era home on the National Register of Historic Places facing historic Seville Square. After serving 33 years in the Air Force, always calling Pensacola my home and returning at least annually to visit family, I’ve finally settled down back in my home town. I’ve also been an investor in Pensacola residential real-estate since 2012.
The Air Force instills 3 core values that I’ve practiced my entire adult life and bring with me to my realtor profession. Those core values are Integrity First, Service before Self, and Excellence in all I do. While promising to practice all three in all my interactions, Integrity First is, to me, the most important. In fact, my Master’s Thesis was focused on the ability to teach people how to detect cues unconsciously revealed when one is being deceptive.
My leisure time is spent mostly with my lovely wife, Janice, of 40 years and our massive family. My 3 siblings and my parents live here. Three of Janice’s 7 siblings live here. When we can break away, we travel between Biloxi, MS and Summerville, SC to visit our 2 children and 5 grandchildren. When we aren’t traveling to see them or enjoying local family time, we enjoy traveling in our RV absorbing all the beauty of this wonderful country that we spent 33 years defending.
